What the Team Planner does for you
- Plan the week in minutes: tap a cell, choose a shift. Copy the previous week with one click.

Activate and get started
- Activate once: on first start, enter your name and your activation number from the thank-you page or your order email. This needs a short internet connection once.

Do I need technical skills?
No. You type in names and numbers and click buttons.
Do I need the internet?
Only briefly: once to activate, about once a month for the licence check, and for Secure Sharing (QR code). Everything else works offline.
How is this different from a shift schedule template in Excel?
An Excel template shows you the schedule. The Team Planner already checks rest periods, breaks and coverage while you plan, keeps count of hours and remaining leave, and comes with a time clock. You still get the Excel file as well.
Do I have to record my employees' working time?
In Germany this already applies today, following the decision of the Federal Labour Court (Bundesarbeitsgericht) of 13 September 2022. In 2026 the Federal Ministry of Labour presented a draft bill: under it, time would generally have to be recorded electronically, smaller businesses would get longer transition periods, and very small businesses would still be allowed to record on paper. This has not been passed yet (as of October 2026). The Team Planner records start, end, breaks and duration for each person and outputs timesheets as PDF and Excel. If in doubt, check with your tax adviser or an employment lawyer whether this is sufficient for your business.
Can several employees see the schedule?
Yes. Print the schedule or send the invitation as a link – everyone scans the QR code with their phone. Up to 3 phones per invitation, and you can create as many invitations as you need.
Can I import my employee list?
Yes, from Excel or CSV. You see beforehand which column is which, and only “Import” saves it.
Are the rules legally binding?
The country presets are simplified guide values. You can adjust every rule. You check collective agreements and special rules yourself.
Where do I find the activation number?
In your order email under “activation number” (it is also shown on the thank-you page). Enter it together with your name on first start – that is your personal activation key.
What if I change my computer or phone?
Save a backup in the app, sign out the old device in the settings and activate the new one with the same number. Then load the backup – everything is back.
May I use the app in my business?
Yes. The licence covers you and your own business; you add your team by QR code. Passing it on or reselling it is not allowed.
Are there extra costs?
