What do I get when I buy an app?
An instant download right after payment: the app in five languages (English, German, Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian), an Excel file and a guide. Each product description lists exactly what’s included.
Do I need the internet or have to install anything?
There is nothing to install. Unzip the file and open the app with a double click. On first launch you unlock the app once with the number from your order email, which needs a brief internet connection. Most apps also briefly confirm the licence about once a month when you happen to be online. Otherwise the app runs in any current browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, even offline. Only sharing by QR code or link needs a connection again.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device, in your browser. There’s no account and no cloud, and we have no access to what you enter. An honest tip: use the app’s backup function regularly, especially before you clear browser data or switch computers.
How does “Secure Sharing” work?
In apps with this feature you send your team a QR code or link. The data is encrypted before it leaves your device. You decide who can only view and who can edit, and you can set a password. You can end access at any time. Anything a person has already opened by then does stay on their device, though.
How do I know I have the original file?
Only download our apps here in the shop or from our Etsy shop. Newer apps such as Invoice Studio and Contractor Studio check on start-up whether the file is unchanged and show the result in the settings. If the file has been changed, you see a clear warning. The download also contains a checksum file that lets you verify every file in the package.
What data do you need from me when I buy?
Only your name, email address and billing address. We use them to send you the download and the invoice, to answer your questions and to meet legal record-keeping rules. We don’t sell data or pass it on for advertising. We never see your card details, because payment goes straight through Shopify. You only get news emails if you clearly ask for them. Is there a subscription or hidden cost?
No. You pay once and keep using the app.
Does it work on Mac, tablet and phone?
Yes. The apps adapt to any screen and come with a light and a dark mode. Working on a PC or laptop is the most comfortable. On a phone, open the file from your Files app.
Can I take my data to a new computer?
Yes. Use the backup function to save a file, then load it into the app on the new device.
Do I need Microsoft Excel?
Not for the apps, they run in your browser. The Excel file is an extra for anyone who also wants to see their numbers in Excel. It’s best opened in Microsoft Excel, because other programs may show charts differently.
My download doesn’t work. What now?
Email us at info@propraxisplan.de with your order number and the email address you used to buy. We’ll sort it out quickly.
Are there app bundles?
Not at the moment. You buy each app on its own, each with an Excel file and a guide. If we offer bundles later, we will only show a saving if it really matches the single prices of the apps inside.
Can I pass on or resell the files?
No. Reselling and public sharing aren’t allowed. To work with your team, use “Secure Sharing”. Details are on License & use.
Do the apps replace my tax or legal advice?
No. The apps help you calculate, plan and stay organised. Please check tax or legal values for your own situation, and ask your tax adviser if in doubt.
